MECS

We are a part of the accredited NHS MECS scheme, where any patient registered with a GP in the Preston area (including Longridge), can attend for a free assessment of various eye complaints that may not be best suited to a full routine sight test. These symptoms range from dryness, redness and irritation, to sudden changes in vision. Please feel free to inquire whether your needs are best met with a MECS appointment, or to confirm your GP falls within our area. We also offer the same service for out of area patients for £25.
